The irrigator of the drip irrigation belt is the core component of the drip irrigation system to control the water distribution, which determines the irrigation effect and system life. The production cost is generally high, and it is easy to deform and block, which hinders the large-scale application.
The researchers focused on the blockage mechanism of the irrigator, the optimization of the flow channel structure and the forming process of the ultra-thin-walled drip irrigation belt to carry out research. Motion computational fluid mechanics, numerical simulation and indoor hydraulic tests were used to reveal the sediment deposition law in the labyrinth flow channel of the irrigator through microscopic observations. Further optimize the labyrinth flow channel structure to reduce the flow dead angle, and introduce the eddy current wall washing design to enhance the fluid initialization ability, significantly shorten the retention time of sediment particles, and significantly improve the anti-blocking performance of the irrigator. At the same time, the scientific research team improved the high-precision temperature control and multi-point support molding process, optimized the mold structure and material ratio, broke through the bottleneck of ultra-thin wall production technology, and prepared drip irrigation belt products with a wall thickness of only 0.13~ 0.14 mm. The product has both mechanical strength and durability, maintains a low clogging rate under high sand-containing water quality, and greatly reduces production costs. This achievement provides equipment support for the large-scale promotion of water-saving irrigation technology.
